Grade 9 Program
All grade 9 students must take a full timetable. Students entering grade 9 will take:

Grade 8 Achievement Guidelines for choosing grade 9 courses are as follows:
- Students entering grade 9 who have not achieved the grade 8 expectations will choose Locally Developed Compulsory Credit (LDCC) courses.
- Students entering grade 9 who are achieving grade level expectations most consistently at level 1 or 2 will choose Applied level courses
- Students entering grade 9 who are achieving grade level expectations most consistently at level 3 or 4 will choose Academic level courses
- Open courses are appropriate for all students
Notes:
- Students may choose to take courses at more than one level
- The majority of compulsory courses are taken in Grade 9 and 10
